Our Mission
We are a group of professional, working Actors and Behavior Coaches who bring our performance, interpersonal skills, and training. to the Business Sector to empower your team to come to life on stage. We teach you to be comfortably, authetically, YOU.
Who We Help
Departments, companies, and/or groups in need of public speaking and/or interpersonal communication skill building tools and practices.
How We Do It
After a short pre-screen meeting we determine which of our curriculums is best suited to your team’s needs and together we choose a time for your 3 or 6 hour in-house training.

What is Applied Improvisation?
As performers, we use our improvisation skills onstage to get people laughing. Conveniently, offstage, we use them to run a successful business. We specialize in teaching people HOW to use improvisation techniques in their work lives. We teach the essential, yet often overlooked or discarded, communication and listening skills that will consistently improve the quality of your work, home and social relationships. We call this Applied Improvisation.

We specialize in teaching people HOW to use improvisation and acting tools and techniques in a practical and applicable way at work. We teach the essential, yet often overlooked, communication, interpersonal, presentation and listening skills that will consistently improve the quality of your work, home and social relationships.
Katie Rubin
Katie Rubin is an Actor, Improviser, Facilitator based in The Hudson Valley, New York. She earned her MFA in Acting at UC Davis in California, and her BA in Theater and Dance at Amherst College in Western Mass. She teaches for Stanford University, The American Conservatory Theater, and with Speechless Live.
Mark Rafael
Mark Rafael is a writer, teacher, and actor who resides in Berkeley, CA.
He currently teaches acting at The American Conservatory Theatre, The University of San Francisco, and the Academy of Art University School of Motion Pictures. He also teaches Public Speaking at UC Berkeley. He is a graduate of Brown University and the Yale School of Drama. His Film and Television credits include “Titanic”, “Star Trek Voyager”, “The Practice”, “Babylon 5”, and “Chance”. He is the author of “Telling Stories: A Grand Unifying Theory of Acting Techniques”.
